Authorities are investigating a crash that occurred on Thursday, June18 shortly before 5 p.m., in the 20100 block of Flat Iron Road in Great Mills.
Rescue crews received a call for a motor vehicle accident with injuries, moments later the call was changed to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
Investigation revealed a single vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree. The male driver was extricated and transported by ambulance to a landing site in the 20300 block of Point Lookout Road in Callaway. Trooper 7 then flew the victim to Prince George’s Shock Trauma.
The patients condition is unknown at this time. No word yet on the cause of the crash.
