CALVERT COUNTY, Md. — The Calvert County Public Schools, Calvert County Government, and CalvertHealth Medical Center are the only local employers with over 1,000 employees according to a recent report from Calvert County Economic Development.
The report lists and recognizes major employers in Calvert County, all of which have at a minimum of 100 employees. 27 employers made the list, of which six were grocery stores, three were in the consumer goods industry, and three were nursing care facilities.
