On July 4, 2012, at approximately 7:03 pm, DFC Meyer of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on Three Notch Road and Beck Road, in Hollywood. DFC Meyer made contact with the driver, Dylan Marshall Hill, 20, of Hollywood, and passenger Andrew Steven Turkovich, Jr., 19, of California. After a brief conversation with the driver, a probable cause search of Turkovich was conducted which resulted in locating a clear plastic bag containing suspected heroin wrapped in paper found on Turkovich’s person. A further search of the vehicle revealed a cigarette box containing clear plastic capsules with suspected heroin found under the driver’s seat. Hill was arrested and charged with CDS Possession of Paraphernalia. Turkovich was arrested and charged with CDS Possession – Not Marijuana and CDS Possession of Paraphernalia.
