STRONG-ARM ROBBERY: On Dec. 17 at 10:30 p.m., a woman was walking in the 6800 block of Matthews Road in Bryans Road when three males approached, grabbed her purse from her hands and fled. The woman, who was not injured, called police. Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence. Officer N. Bledsoe is investigating.

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: On Dec. 17 at 7:45 p.m., a male suspect entered Cricket Wireless in the 11700 block of Business Park Drive in Waldorf, jumped the counter, showed a gun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled, possibly in a dark-colored vehicle. Det. A. Celia is investigating.

SHOPLIFTER THREATENS LOSS PREVENTION OFFICER: On Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m., a male suspect entered a grocery store in the area of King Street in Waldorf and concealed 19 bottles of baby formula. A loss prevention officer attempted to stop the suspect but the suspect pulled a knife and fled, possibly in a dark-colored Ford F150 with front-end damage. The suspect is described as a black male, mid-thirties, with a tear drop tattoo under his left eye. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a black jacket over top a black and white jersey, blue jeans and a black beanie hat. Officer A. Duckett is investigating.
