Charles County Sheriff's Office Welcomes Six New Deputies

WALDORF, Md. — On the morning of April 26, 2024, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office welcomed six new officers to its ranks in a Swearing-In and Badge Pinning Ceremony, proudly witnessed by Sheriff Berry and members of his Command Staff.

The new deputies, who have completed the Police Entrance Level Training Program at the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy, and graduated Friday evening alongside their classmates from Session 53. The Oath of Office was administered by Lisa Yates, Clerk of the Court.
