One of two teenagers who escaped from a juvenile detention facility is back in custody after being arrested by a police task force in Washington, DC.
Demarco Emmanuel Smith, 18, was arrested shortly before 7:30 a.m. this morning by Maryland State Troopers, with the assistance of Metropolitan Police. Smith was apprehended without incident at a residence in the 700-block of 24th Street in Northeast Washington. Information was developed with the help of an anonymous tip received based on wanted flyers distributed in the neighborhood.
Smith is currently being held by the Metropolitan Police Department awaiting his extradition back to Maryland. When
