LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On Jan. 17, Dep. J. Smith responded to the 22000 block of Bayside Road, in Leonardtown, for a reported burglary. Investigation revealed Suspect Robert Ernest Smith, age 75, of Chesapeake Beach, ran out of gas, at which time he burglarized a shed on the victim’s property and removed gas cans.
Smith was located, arrested, and charged with Burglary.
