Coastal Flooding advisory issued

HOLLYWOOD, Md. — On August 21 at 1 p.m., a coastal flooding advisory from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. was issued. The tidal anomaly is up to one foot above normal. Timing around high tie this afternoon into late evening. Expected impacts are minor inundation of low lying shoreline. 

Point Lookout is to see this at 4:34 p.m.

Piney Point is to see this at 5:17 p.m.

This advisory indicates onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
