Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron announces that the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office will host a joint Open House with the Department of Recreation and Parks at their new “District 4 Station” (old Carver Elementary School) on September 23rd, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Open House activities will include presentations from Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron, Recreation and Parks, members of the Board of Education will address parents and community members regarding school safety issues, and Dfc. Angela Delozier will provide and insightful presentation on Cyber Bullying.
The Department of Recreation and Parks in partnership with the St. Mary’s County Board of Education will announce the continuation of the “Carver Recreation Center After School Program” and will be conducting program registration.
The Open House will be fun and educational for everyone; citizens will learn about Sheriff’s Office services, receive information regarding all of the programs we offer and children will get to meet “Cooper” the newest member of our K-9 Team.
