
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On Jan. 31 at 12:50 a.m., an adult male victim was sitting inside a vehicle located on West Washington Street when a male suspect wearing a black mask over his face opened his passenger side door and demanded money several times.
The suspect was holding his right hand in his jacket pocket as he did so causing the victim to believe he might be armed. The victim did not hand over any money and the suspect fled the area on foot. Officers located the suspect in the unit block of Pleasant St. The suspect was identified as Kenan Johnson, 18, of Annapolis.
Johnson was arrested and charged with attempted robbery. He is awaiting his initial hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
