UPDATE – 10/7/2024 – DUI Horror: Four Children Injured In La Plata Crash, Driver Faces Multiple Charges
LA PLATA, Md. – On October 5th, 2024, at about 11:04 pm, 911 received a call in refrence to a single vehicle that went down an embankment near Charles St and Kentucky Ave.
The driver placed the call and advised her children were in the vehicle. Three children were transported to Children’s Hospital, and one was flown by Trooper 2 to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by police.

I don’t think she had any charges against her; I never heard any more about this case.
The operator, identified as Danielle Lavon Baker age 29 of Waldorf, was placed into custody on the scene.
