Shortly before 4:30 p.m., on Jan. 29 near the intersection of Three Notch Road and Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park, rescue crews responded to a personal injury accident involving a Sheriffs Deputy.
According to one dedicated TBN reader who witnessed the crash, it appears the officer had his lights on travelling southbound on Route 235 and was responding to a call when he attempted to make a right turn and was struck by a tan colored sedan.
No injuries were reported. No word on any charges from either drivers.
The accident remains under investigation.
