Leonardtown, MD – A Mechanicsville woman was arrested for possession of a dangerous controlled substance on Sept. 16.
A St. Mary’s County deputy pulled over Stephanie Jeanne Rice, 27, for erratic driving and crossing the center line several times.
After failing a field sobriety test, Rice was placed under arrest. The deputy then searched the car and found a dangerous controlled substance.
She was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Rice was charged with controlled dangerous substance possession not marijuana, driving while under the influence and driving while impaired by alcohol.
According to court records, Rice posted bond and was released.
