UPDATE: Prince Frederick, MD – April 13, 2020 – An Easter blessing…Calvert County Sheriffs Office Deputy Cpl. McCarroll was released from CalvertHealth Medical Center on Sunday April 12, 2020. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as he recovers.
Family says “It’s an Easter Miracle.”
Cpl. Marty McCarroll was reunited yesterday with his wife, Tammy after a critical bout of COVID-19. CalvertHealth Medical Center’s CEO Dean Teague and Sheriff Evans welcome him on his release from the hospital. Cpl. McCarroll was escorted by the Calvert County Sheriffโs Office and local First Responders to his residence.

Prince Frederick, MD – April 1, 2020 – In support of all first responders, Calvert Health Medical Staff, health care workers and other essential staff working tirelessly on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, deputies from the Calvert County Sheriffโs Office showed their support for all those working to save lives, especially the life of one of their own currently in the ICU fighting of his life.
A Calvert County Sheriffโs Office deputy has tested positive with COVID-19 and is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
Fellow deputies held a โrolling roll callโ Tuesday evening at the Calvert Health Medical Center to show their support for the deputy and their gratitude for Calvert Health Medical Staff and first responders during this time of crisis.
