Waldorf, MD – On April 12, 2020 at 2:44 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Brookside Place in Waldorf for the report of the sound of gunshots. When officers arrived, they learned a male, age 22, had been shot multiple times and was driven to the hospital by an acquaintance. Detectives are working to establish a motive, but believe the shooting was not random.
The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
