Detectives from St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations are currently investigating the report of an armed robbery which occurred on June 3 at approximately 10 p.m.
While the victim was in the rear parking area of the Best Western Hotel in California, he was approached by a black male, approximately 6-foot tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s money.
After obtaining the victim’s money the suspect fled on foot.
