The Board of County Commissioners for St. Mary’s County and the Department of Aging invites the public to support the Meals On Wheels Program during March by dining out at local restaurants who have agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds to Meals on Wheels. This program serves over 200 homebound seniors in St. Mary’s County and relies on community support to continue to operate wait-list free.
The following restaurants will be offering dine-in or carry out services to support the program when Meals On Wheels is mentioned:
Ledo Pizza, Tuesday, March 9, 4 to 9 p.m., 25460 Point Lookout Rd., Leonardtown, 301-475-9280;
CiCi’s Pizza, Wednesday, March 17, all day, San Souci Plaza, California, 240-725-0000;
and Arizona Pizza, Thursday, March 25, all day, in front of McKay’s in Leonardtown, 301-997-1700.
