Waldorf, MD – On May 4 at 12:40 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lexington Drive and Middletown Road in Waldorf.  Upon making contact with the driver, officers detected a strong odor of raw marijuana. After investigating further, officers discovered a loaded handgun, 70 grams of marijuana, and packaging supplies inside the car. The driver, Dajuan Jones, 19, and Quashia Thompson, 20, both of Waldorf, were arrested and charged with possession of a firearm and possession of drugs with the intent to distribute. Officer C.
