On March 7 at 8:10 p.m., a 15-year old female was struck by a car near the intersection of St. Charles Parkway and Dartmouth Road in Waldorf.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was walking on the side walk when a dog startled her and she ran into the roadway. The victim was transported to a hospital where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene.
