DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. — Pumpkins, pups, and plenty of family fun will take over The AmericanK9 Dog Ranch this fall as the training center hosts its second annual Paws & Pumpkins Fall Fest.

The dog-friendly festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3869 Birdsville Road and will feature a vendor market, food trucks, live music from 567 Productions and a pumpkin patch. Activities include face painting, airbrush tattoos, pumpkin painting, self-led wooded trail walks and a petting zoo. Families can also enjoy a themed photo booth with professional pictures and a costume contest for pets with prizes.

Admission is $10 online or $15 at the gate, cash only. Children under 1 and all dogs are free. The ticket price includes access to face painting, the petting zoo, trail walks and a professional photograph. Parking is free. Organizers said the event also marks AmericanK9’s biggest sale of the year on training and daycare packages.

All dogs must remain leashed, and owners are asked to bring waste bags. Staff will check tickets at the entrance.

Organizers described the festival as a seasonal tradition designed to celebrate autumn while bringing together families and their pets.

Tickets are available at AmericanK9.com, and additional event details can be found on the Facebook event page.
