The 55-year-old saw the $10 instant ticket in stores a few times before she actually bought one. The lucky player had stopped in at Lee’s Market in Laurel and was sitting at a table, about to play Keno, when she again saw the WILLY WONKA GOLDEN TICKET™. The lucky lady remembered her dream, bought an instant ticket and found her fortune.
“I couldn’t believe it,” the happy winner said. “I kept looking at the ticket and saying, ‘There’s no way.’” When asked of her plans for her prize, the loyal player said she plans to pay off bills.
Lee’s Market, which is located at 338 Brock Ridge Road in Baltimore County, benefits from its lucky sale, too. The store received a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off.
This was the third top-prize winning scratch-off sold in this popular game, which has a second-chance promotion.
