Driver Found with Large Amounts of Cash and Marijuana

At 9:08 p.m. on June 1, TFC J. Edelen of the LaPlata Barrack stopped a vehicle for a brake light being out, in the area of Cambridge Drive.

Upon contact with the driver, Ryan Anthony Dory, 28, of Waldorf, suspected marijuana residue was observed in the vehicle.

A probable cause search revealed a large quantity of U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia. A search of Dory’s person revealed suspected marijuana.

Dory was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
