NANJEMOY, Md. – Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a dump truck Friday afternoon, April 25, 2025, in Nanjemoy, where the vehicle was found overturned in the area of Tayloes Neck Road and Walters Landing Road.
The incident was reported just before 1 p.m. when a caller advised that a dump truck had rolled onto its side. The driver was reported to be alert at the scene.
Fire and rescue personnel arrived to find the truck on its side and established a command at the scene. Crews from multiple stations responded, but most were released shortly after as the situation was stabilized.
The driver was evaluated on scene, and no injuries were reported. Fire officials turned the scene over to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.
Tayloes Neck Road will be shut down at Walter’s Landing Road for an extended period of time.
