Leonardtown, MD— On Thursday, Nov. 17 at approximately 2:30 a.m., firefighters were called to a residence on Hollywood Road in the area of Green Hills Lane. A neighbor reported flames were coming from the residence next door.
The first arriving units re-sounded the alarm for a working house fire. Hollywood Road was then closed for the next several hours due to the overwhelming number of fire apparatus on the scene.
The scene was turned over to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office around daybreak and they conducted an investigation. The roadway was reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
More information will be released after the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office concludes the investigation.
