If this winter has stretched your family thin, we’re here to help. Easter baskets are available for children 12 and under in Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s counties, with distribution happening March 24–30, 2026.

Easter is a season of joy, color, and small moments that mean a lot—especially for children. To help make the holiday brighter for families across Southern Maryland, we are collecting items to assemble Easter baskets for local children. These baskets will be distributed to families experiencing housing instability or financial hardship, helping ensure every child can enjoy the spirit of the season.
We are currently accepting new, unopened items including:
- Easter grass
- Plastic eggs
- Candy and treats
- Peeps and chocolate bunnies
- Stuffed animals
- Small toys
- Bubbles
- Coloring books
Donations can be dropped off by March 13 at any of the following locations:
