MTV is looking for Southern Maryland couples to feature during season three of its show, Engaged and Underage. Each episode follows one couple through engagement, wedding planning and the big day.
Engaged couples that are interested in have their wedding on national TV and are planning to be married in November, December or January 2009 may apply for the show by downloading and filling out the casting questionnaire at this link.
The music television pioneer describes the show on their Web site: “Ah, to be young and in love — holding hands, passing notes in class, sharing a first kiss and planning a wedding. Who cares if people think it’s too soon to get married! Find out what it’s like to be Engaged and Underage.
“All across the country, tons of young adults are engaged and underage and think they’re ready to take the plunge and start their life together. Their wedding day is going to be the biggest and best day of their lives, right?”
During the show’s inaugural season, Engaged and Underage revealed the enormous stress experienced by a young couple during a life-changing event such as marriage.
