The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations would like to thank the citizens and local media for their assistance in located Brian Robert Flynn. Flynn was apprehended within hours of the press release be issued after detectives began receiving numerous tips from the public.
Flynn was located by detectives at a business establishment in Waldorf, Maryland and taken into custody without incident. Flynn was transported back to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center to continue serving the remainder of his 15 month sentence.
In addition, he was charged with one (1) count of Escape, 2nd Degree.
This is another fine example of the citizens and media working closely together with law enforcement to provide for a safer community.

The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brian Robert Flynn, W/M, age 26, 5’-11”, 185 lbs. (Photo’s attached) Flynn walked away from the court authorized Compass Program while serving a 15 month sentence at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for Theft Under $1,000. He was last seen in the Charlotte Hall area walking on foot.
