eTrepid, Inc., a leading managed service provider servicing small to mid-size businesses throughout Southern Maryland, joins forces with Operation Warrior Refuge (OWR) to help raise funds in order to provide free Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy to Veterans experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In order to raise funds, eTrepid and OWR will host a Benefit Concert with John Luskey at local burger joint, Foster’s Grille, in Waldorf, MD on December 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

“This benefit concert will be just one of many to help OWR raise funds and awareness for veterans in the tri-county area suffering from PTSD who could benefit from the services OWR has to offer,” said Tom Blandford, President of eTrepid, Inc. “As a Veteran owned company, we believe reaching out to our community through family friendly events is just one more way we can give back and show our support for the troops. We are so pleased Foster’s Grille in Waldorf has agreed to host our very first event.”

John Luskey is a Southern Maryland native who has played music for over twenty years and has performed with Kenny Chesney, Brooks-n-Dunn, Rascal Flatts, and Toby Keith. John Luskey performs solo as well as with his bandmates in the John Luskey Band, where they were the first unsigned band to perform at the WMZQ Fest.

“I am a big advocate when it comes to showing my support for causes I believe in” said John Luskey. “Operation Warrior Refuge is a great organization and I am proud to show my support to the troops by performing for OWR’s very first Benefit Concert!”

“We are so pleased to have our first benefit concert featuring John Luskey at Foster’s Grille” said Diane McKissick, Program Director and Therapist at OWR. “We truly appreciate the support from a local artist and our community, without them this event would not be possible.”

“Here at Foster’s our brand focuses on great customer loyalty and great-tasting food.  We were so excited when eTrepid asked us to be a part of their Benefit Concert fundraiser for Operation Warrior Refuge. Providing a community event for a great cause is what helps us to preserve that quality and experience we thrive to provide to our customers” said Scott McKee, General Manager at Foster’s Grille. “Hearing that John Luskey would be performing was an added bonus because he fits right into the classic rock’n’roll and country vibe we have here at Foster’s!”

About Operation Warrior Refuge
OWR, a tax exempt 501-3(c) non-profit incorporation, consists of a specialized team that applies a unique, experience-based approach to therapy called Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). By combining EAP with the Reboot, Retrain, Renew, and Sustain System, OWR creates a community for Veterans and a refuge for Warriors: a place where horses help men and women heal by guiding them on a path to reclaim direction in their lives.
