Maryland Fest Historic St. Mary's City

ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. — Bring your Maryland pride to MarylandFest 2025, happening Saturday, May 3, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Historic St. Mary’s City. This free, family-friendly event replaces the county’s former Beerfest and returns as a larger, more inclusive celebration of Maryland’s music, culture, food and springtime fun.

MarylandFest features live music, historic exhibits, food trucks, vendors and an expanded beer garden now featuring wine and spirits from across the region. While admission is free, select activities and tastings will require tickets.

Main Stage Entertainment

Head to the band stage near the waterfront for this lineup of local and regional talent:

  • 11:30 a.m.Foggy Bottom Morris Dancers bring high-energy traditional English dance to kick off the fun.
  • 12:15 to 1:45 p.m.Andrew Bell, a Baltimore-based singer-songwriter, performs a crowd-pleasing set.
  • 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.8 Ohms Band lights up the stage with funk, soul, go-go and reggae beats.

Festival Highlights You Won’t Want to Miss

  • Dance Around the Maypole – Celebrate the season with a colorful maypole dance at 2:30 p.m. near the southern end of the grounds.
  • Foggy Bottom Morris Men – Catch an encore performance near the maypole area at 2 p.m.
  • Pictures With Pinch – Snap a selfie with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs mascot near the historic State House.
