FORT WASHINGTON, Md. – The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that took place in Fort Washington Friday afternoon. The deceased driver is 31-year-old Nancy Velasquez of Fort Washington.
On January 3, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm, officers responded to the 7300 block of Allentown Road for a single-vehicle crash. Velasquez was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was traveling westbound on Allentown Road, when for reasons now under investigation, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a house. No one inside of the home was injured.
