William Pfeiffer
Mechanicsville, MD— On Jan.17, St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputy John Kirkner responded to the 26000 block of Yowaiski Mill Road in Mechanicsville, for the report of a disturbance.
The victim alleged the suspect, William Pfeiffer, 56, of Mechanicsville, pushed the victim against the wall during an argument.
According to charging documents, “The defendant stated to me during my (Kirkner) initial contact with him that he and the victim became involved in a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation when he (Pfeiffer) pushed the victim.”
The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations.
“The victim stated they argued, and then the defendant pushed her against the laundry room wall resulting in her head striking the wall,” according to charging documents.
Pfeiffer was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with second-degree assault.
Pfeiffer has a court date set for March 15 at the St.Mary’s County District Court. Pfeiffer faces a maximum jail sentence of ten years and or a maximum fine of $2,500.
