CHARLES COUNTY, Md. – The Charles County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association invites area families to join them Saturday, October 24, at the Charles County Fairgrounds for Fire Prevention Day.
The event will run from 9 am to 4 pm and feature activities for the entire family. Everyone’s favorite mascot, Sparky, will be on hand along with a K9 Unit from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
Families can get an up-close view of first responders in action by watching demonstrations of a high angle rescue, hazmat procedures, a simulated car accident, and a CPR overview.

- Co 3 Waldorf Fire Dept. Co 10 Bel Alton VFD

Fair Food will be available for purchase on a cash-only basis.
