At 12:34 a.m. July 5, Waldorf Volunteer Firefighters responded to a car fire at 2829 Pine Cone Circle.

Investigation revealed that the unknown suspects placed a smoke bomb inside the victimโ€™s 2003 Ford Ranger causing minor damage to the right front passenger seat.ย  Investigation is continuing.

The truckโ€™s owner, Gerald Spence, was left with approximately $10,000 in damage.

There were no arrests made as of this report.

At 11 a.m. July 5, a home at 1231 Adams Road, Waldorf, received minor damage from another firework prank.

Maryland State Fire Marshal Office reports, an unknown suspect placed an ignited illegal firework at the front door of the residence.

The firework discharged, causing moderate damage to the front door with no extension to the house.

The homeowner, Daneil Gozzi, was left with $1,000 worth of damage.
