The Charles County Department of Health has scheduled the 2015 free flu vaccination clinics:
Charles County Department of Health (4545 Crain Highway, White Plains):
• Friday, Oct. 2 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. (Injectable vaccine only for senior citizens)
• Friday, Oct. 2 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Injectable vaccine only)
• Friday, Oct. 16 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 7 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Thursday, Dec. 17 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Western County Family Medical Center (4375 Port Tobacco Road, Nanjemoy):
• Wednesday, Oct. 21 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Smallwood Middle School (4990 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head):
• Tuesday, Nov. 10 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Piccowaxen Middle School (12834 Rock Point Road, Newburg):
• Thursday, Nov. 12 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Thomas Stone High School (3785 Leonardtown Road, Waldorf):
• Tuesday, Nov. 17 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
La Plata High School (6035 Radio Station Road, La Plata):
• Thursday, Nov. 19 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Vaccinations are available for residents six months old and older. Due to an updated formulation of the vaccine, the nasal spray vaccine will not be available for the Friday, Oct. 2 clinics.
Influenza vaccination clinics will be available for students at all Charles County Public Elementary Schools during the month of October. Parents will receive information regarding the vaccination directly from their child’s school.
