On Jan. 13, at 12:29 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the Food Lion in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. An unknown suspect left the store without paying for several items. Witnesses provided the suspect’s description and vehicle description which was broadcast to all units.
Deputy Fisher from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Dept. stopped the suspect’s vehicle on Skinner’s Turn Road in Sunderland.
The driver, James T. Walker, 48 of Prince Frederick, was positively identified by witnesses and subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
