WALDORF, Md. — Firefighters responded Monday afternoon after a food truck with propane tanks on board caught fire on Bensville Road in Waldorf.

The fire was reported around 1:15 p.m. June 1, 2026, in the 8500 block of Bensville Road.

Initial reports indicated bystanders were attempting to put out the fire before crews arrived, but were unable to extinguish it.

Another trailer was next to the food truck, but the fire was not threatening a building at the time of the call.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters responded to the scene and later reported the fire was out.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
