
SOLOMONS, Md. — Solomons is going live this Fourth of July with Fox 5 DC’s Zip Trip! The entire community is invited to join in as the morning show broadcasts live from the Solomons Island Riverwalk and Pavilion on Friday, July 4, from 7 to 11 a.m. Below is the full broadcast lineup so you can plan when to tune in—or show up! The segment will shine a spotlight on the people, small businesses, and waterfront charm that make Solomons one of Maryland’s most treasured destinations.
The live show will feature a variety of segments from the Riverwalk and Pavilion along with businesses throughout Solomons. The public is invited to head down to the boardwalk that morning to watch the broadcast in action—and maybe even appear on TV during one of the live segments. The morning will be packed with local interviews, demonstrations, performances, and more.
Fox 5’s Zip Trip series airs from a different community each week throughout the summer, highlighting local flavor, family fun, and hidden gems around the D.C. metro area.

Plan Ahead
Parking on Solomons Island is very limited, and large crowds are expected. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early and be prepared to walk from nearby lots to the boardwalk area.
Past stops have included Annapolis, Leonardtown, La Plata, and North Beach—each celebrated for its unique local character and strong sense of community, just like Solomons.
