There was sunshine and fun at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf July 4 as families gathered for an afternoon of fun, crafts, kiddy rides and music.
The early day festivities which featured music by John Luskey and The Sam Grow Band, were prelude to a grand fireworks display which proceeded despite gusty winds which postponed other area events. Solomons and Chesapeake Beach both decided to deploy the rocket’s red glare Saturday, July 5.
