At 9:22 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, Tpr. M. Moore responded to St. Mary’s Hospital for a reported assault. The victim, 17 year old female, advised that her mother and her mother’s boyfriend had been arguing downstairs. The boyfriend then ran upstairs, held the daughter, and punched her in the face numerous times. The boyfriend then left the residence.
The girl’s mother transported her to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries to her face.
An application for charges against the suspect has been made. Investigation continuing.
