On Dec. 8, at 2:23 pm, Tpr. G. A. Thompson responded to the intersection of South Hampton Drive and Bristol Avenue in Lexington Park for the reported fight on a school bus.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female driver, 40 of Great Mills. She advised a 13-year-old female juvenile was assaulting an 11-year-old female student on the bus. The driver separated the juveniles and escorted the suspect off the bus and detained her until Tpr. Thompson arrived at the scene.
The 13-year-old female suspect of Lexington Park was charged with Second-Degree Assault and released to her mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
