The Kim Stone Memorial Scholarship Committee is sponsoring a Golf Tournament and Silent Auction at the Chesapeake Hills Golf Club.
The proceeds from the tournament and auction will support four, $1,000 scholarships to be given to one student from each of the county’s high schools, Calvert, Huntingtown, Northern and Patuxent.
The tournament will be held July 11, beginning at 8:30 a.m., to a shot-gun start.
Golfers pay a $100 entry fee which covers a golf cart, course beverage, lunch and fees.
The cost for non-golfers is $10 for adults and $5 for children. This fee covers a late lunch, the auction and activities for children. Non-golfers should arrive at 2 p.m.
