Stephen Won, a senior at Great Mills High School, is the recipient of Northrop Grumman’s $10,000 Engineering Scholarship for St. Mary’s County.
According to Susan Baker, director of Human Resources Organizational Excellence at Northrop Grumman, when considering the number of excellent applications the organization received for this award, Stephen’s selection as the winner by the scholarship committee is a big accomplishment.
Stephen, who graduates from Great Mills High School on June 1, will be recognized during Northrop Grumman’s Scholarship Awards Banquet on June 2.
He plans to attend the University of Maryland, College Park, where he will study electrical engineering.
Stephen is the son of Chi and Susan Won.
