CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. โ One person was transported to the hospital Sunday morning following a two-vehicle crash near the Burger King on Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall. The crash involved a grey sedan and a truck, and according to first responders, the sedan rolled multiple times after impact.
The crash occurred at 8:32 a.m. on March 30, near the intersection of Hancock Way and Traveled Lane. St. Maryโs County Fire & EMS arrived to find one occupant in each vehicle. Officials confirmed that one individual was taken to MedStar St. Maryโs Hospital while the other declined transport after being evaluated at the scene.
No one was trapped in the vehicles, and the scene was cleared without the need for rescue tools.
Authorities continue to monitor traffic flow in the area as conditions normalize.

So what has the 45 mph speed limit eliminated. Just as many accidents because the limit is not enforced.
Lowered speed limits haven’t helped much. The whole county still has way too many accidents. Maybe MSP & SMCSO can hire and equip 50 more LEO’s for traffic enforcement. Maybe it’s time for SMCSO and MSP to get some help from technology!!
