The Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office and Charles County Crime Solvers are seeking the publicโ€™s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a strong-arm robbery at a drug store in December.

Sheriffโ€™s officers responded to Walgreens, located at 25 High Street in Waldorf, on Dec. 20 at 1:07 a.m. for the report of the strong-arm robbery. Investigation revealed the suspect entered the store, brought merchandise to the register and handed the clerk cash. As the clerk opened the register, the suspect dove across the counter and stole money. When the suspect exited the store, he was confronted by another employee and a brief struggle ensued. The employee recovered all the cash stolen by the supsect, and the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle waiting beside the store.
