St. Mary’s City, MD – Historic St. Mary’s City is offering a heartfelt thanks to all of the sponsors, volunteers and board members who made BeerFest a brewing success.
More than 3,000 visitors enjoyed a dozen Maryland small-craft brewers, three outstanding local bands, along with food and craft vendors. Six months of planning went into the event, which was staffed by volunteers, staff, and board members from both the Historic St. Mary’s City Foundation and the Historic St. Mary’s City Commission.
Profits from BeerFest help Historic St. Mary’s City develop new historical programs, care for more than six million artifacts, and discover more about the unique historical site that was shared by people from three different continents during the 17th century. The museum hosts more than 22,000 students, teachers, and chaperones each year.
