
St. Mary’s City, MD – Registration is now open for Historic St. Mary’s City’s (HSMC) Homeschoolers Day scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 27. This will be a day filled with activities specifically designed for home-schoolers and their families and will include events such as colonial games, maritime navigation, food preparation and colonial medicine. The cost is $5 per child ages 5 and up, with one accompanying adult admitted free. Each additional adult is $10, children under 5 years of age are admitted free of charge. Shakespeare in the City
Tickets are now on sale for a production of Romeo and Juliet to be held on the State House Lawn at HSMC Aug. 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 (rain or shine). You may purchase tickets online at www.newtowneplayers.org/shakespeare-tickets.html, or at The Shop at Farthing’s Ordinary the evening of the performance. The Box office opens at 6:30 p.m. each night.
The North End Gallery
