Huntingtown Girls Basketball Wins First Regional Championship

HUNTINGTOWN, Md. – For the first time in school history, the Huntingtown High School girl’s basketball team has won the 2A South Regional Championship!

The Lady Canes hosted the McDonough Rams on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. After a hard-fought game on both sides, Huntingtown came out on top 56-47.

Huntingtown and North Point High School will advance to their respective State Quarterfinals on March 9. At the time of this report, their matchups have not been finalized yet.
