CAMP SPRINGS, Md. — The skies over Prince George’s County will roar back to life next month when Joint Base Andrews hosts its free annual air show on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13–14, 2025.
The free public event draws tens of thousands each year and is a long-standing tradition for the base and surrounding communities.
This year’s theme, “Where Legacy Fuels the Future,” reflects the event’s focus on the pioneering pilots of the past and the advanced aircraft and innovations shaping the armed forces of today. Attendees can expect military and civilian aerial demonstrations, static aircraft displays, STEAM ground exhibits, and performances from the U.S. Air Force Band and Honor Guard.

The aerial lineup includes:
- U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
- U.S. Army Golden Knights
- U.S. Naval Academy Parachute Team
- F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team
- C-17 East Coast Demonstration Team
- U.S. Navy Rhino Demonstration Team, featuring the F/A-18 Super Hornet
On the ground, visitors can explore aircraft up close, meet service members and participate in interactive exhibits highlighting science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Organizers recommend arriving early and using public transportation due to limited on-base parking.
Admission is free. Reserved premium seating is available, with Premium Box Seats at $82.50 per person and Flight Line Club tables starting at $385 for two people. Children age 3 and under are free if seated on a lap.
