LEONARDTOWN, Md. — A crowd of family, friends and community leaders gathered today to celebrate a sweet new chapter in Leonardtown as Kneaded Baking Co. officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Among those in attendance were Leonardtown Mayor Dan Burris and St. Mary’s County Commissioner Eric Colvin, both of whom joined in welcoming the bakery’s new owners to the local business community.

The ceremony marked a milestone moment for the business since moving into the new location at 22675 Washington St., Leonardtown, MD, as supporters filled the space to show their enthusiasm for what many know will become a staple in downtown Leonardtown.
