Ladder, Cut Window Screen Found at High School

At 10:15 p.m. Aug. 5, Charles County Sheriff’s Cpl. J. Hastings was patrolling the parking lot of Westlake High School located at 3300 Middletown Road in Waldorf when he discovered a ladder next to a window.

Investigation revealed the window screen had been cut and the window was unlocked. A K9 team responded and searched the building but no one was inside.

A Board of Education representative responded and said nothing appeared to be missing.
